Şimleu Silvaniei Multicultural Holocaust Education and Research Center

The Şimleu Silvaniei Multicultural Holocaust Education and Research Center is a project created by the Northern Transylvania Holocaust Memorial Museum to provide a space for education and research about the Holocaust. Since its opening in 2008, the center has been dedicated to hosting lectures, seminars, and programs for students, teachers, and academics. The teacher program is particularly noteworthy, as it helps educators sensitively integrate the Holocaust into their curriculum, addressing a past that had previously been neglected in Romania's school system.
