ABOUT THE JEWISH ARCHITECTURAL HERITAGE FOUNDATION
The Jewish Architectural Heritage Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, not for profit corporation which assumes responsibility for maintaining, restoring, renovating and building Jewish heritage buildings and monuments on an international scale.

The organization's work is philanthropic in nature, and is focused on restoring and erecting Jewish public buildings and holy sites. Its activities are planned with the intention of serving to benefit members of all faiths and creeds and promoting inter-racial tolerance and understanding of local heritage. Currently, its focus is set on projects within Romania, Hungary and Poland.

Some of our more notable completed projects are the
Cehei Ghetto Memorial, The Jibou Cemetery Restoration Project, Åžimleu Silvaniei Multicultural Holocaust Education and Research Center at the location of the former Simleu Heder, and our flagship, the Northern Transylvania Holocaust Memorial Museum.
